MERCURY Conference poster sessions are an opportunity for undergraduate students to present and discuss their work. Students must submit abstracts by TBA. Abstracts will be published in an online booklet that will be available to all conference attendants.

Students presenting posters need to submit abstracts following these guidelines.
Electronic format
All abstracts should be submitted in PDF format.
Size
All abstracts must be no larger than one 8.5 X 11 inch page.
Title
Please center title, authors and affiliation. The presenting author must be underlined.
Figures
Figures and graphs must be imbedded in the document.
File name
File name should have a format of Lastname_Firstname.pdf of the first presenting author.
Submission
Abstracts should be attached and submitted via email to abstracts@mercuryconsortium.org with the subject "Abstract" (without the quotes). Also, be sure the file being attached has the form Lastname_Firstname.pdf.
Confirmation
You should get a confirmation email asking you to verify that you used the correct subject line. If not, please try sending it again.
Submission deadline:
The deadline is July 10, 2022 due to the time needed to create a conference booklet containing all the abstracts. Abstracts may be submitted after the deadline, but they may not be included in the online conference booklet.

Students presenting posters will give a brief oral presentation of their work during the meeting.

Length
The presentation should be 1 minutes long and should give an overview of your poster/research.
Presentation Material
During your talk, your abstract from the conference booklet will be projected on a screen. However, you may use a different one page (8.5" x 11") graphical abstract instead.
File name
File name should have a format of Lastname_Firstname.pdf of the first presenting author.
Graphical Abstract
If you choose to use a graphical abstract, please send it in PDF format to abstracts@mercuryconsortium.org with a subject line "Graphical Abstract" (without the quotes) by 11:59PM on July 15, 2022. You can see samples of a graphical abstract here: Sample 1
